The brief

Luxury in the Gulf is a crowded shelf of gold foil. Our concept brief: a boutique for considered fashion and objects, in Dubai and Riyadh, that would feel more expensive by saying less. The brand had to work in Arabic and English with the same weight, and it had to be recognised from a bag carried across a mall.

What we did

The wordmark is set in a single serif with generous letter-spacing, in black only. The one colour the brand owns is a deep saar green, used on the inside of the bag, the ribbon and the lining of the box, so the colour appears at the moment of opening, not from a distance. The Arabic wordmark was drawn to the same height and rhythm as the Latin one, so neither is the translation of the other.

The packaging system has nine pieces, from a jewellery pouch to a garment box, all in the same uncoated stock with a blind-embossed mark. In store, the language is the same: no sale signs, no price tags on display, a handwritten card with every purchase. The launch campaign is a single image per week on Instagram and one printed invitation to fifty people, not an ad.

The result

A concept, so there are no numbers to claim. What it demonstrates: a luxury identity that holds together from the wordmark to the ribbon, in two languages, and a launch built on scarcity rather than reach. It is the approach we bring to premium retail, hospitality and fashion clients.
